Accessibility

Our Commitment

At Wedpilot, we believe that love, celebration, and premium design should be accessible to all. We are dedicated to ensuring our digital planning tools are fully usable, screen-reader compatible, and navigable for everyone, regardless of physical or cognitive abilities.

01Conformance Standard

We actively target the **Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA** standards as our baseline for digital experience. These guidelines outline best practices to make web assets more navigable for individuals with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive conditions.

Our components are designed to leverage semantic HTML elements, robust ARIA attributes where needed, and structured keyboard focus paths, ensuring screen reader and voice-controlled browsers can parse inputs accurately.

02Aesthetic Accessibility Features

To align our luxurious style with universal usability, we have adopted several concrete technical specifications:

  • Contrast Integrity: While we use elegant pastels, blush, and champagne shades, all text columns maintain rich `--ink` or `--noir` coloring to exceed required contrast ratios.
  • Keyboard Navigability: Our header links, onboarding steps, and budget cards are completely tab-navigable with clear outline rings.
  • ARIA Indicators: Interactive modals, popup notifications, and form alerts include precise accessibility descriptions (e.g. `role="dialog"`, descriptive labels, and screen reader-only text).
  • Alt Text Safeguards: Decorative motifs include `aria-hidden="true"` or null alt attributes to prevent screen clutter, while meaningful media files contain clear descriptive tags.

03Supportive Technologies

Wedpilot is optimized for standard screen reader utilities, including VoiceOver (macOS, iOS), NVDA (Windows), and JAWS. We recommend utilizing the latest versions of your browser and accessibility software to ensure smooth, real-time Supabase syncing and audio reading support.

Ongoing Usability & Feedback

We recognize that digital accessibility is an ongoing process. If you encounter usability issues, find an interface element that blocks keyboard interaction, or would like to suggest an improvement, please contact our support desk:
